Welcome to FINacademy
All my life I have always searched for an understanding of how things work. When I came across accounting it allowed me to understand how businesses worked. Being a CFO of a small hedge fund, I came to love small businesses and how they allow for rapid change and evolution. Biography
Melanie has in-depth experience in the accounting industry having served as CFO of a hedge fund and as an auditor with Ernst & Young, working in their New York City and Cayman Islands offices. Melanie graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School of Business obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Economics with concentrations in Accounting, Finance and Business Ethics. She obtained a Master of Professional Accounting from McCombs School of Business. Melanie is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. She is a QuickBooks Online Advanced Certified ProAdvisor. Melanie is a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants.
